Make sure the code
number on the dis-
play matches the
code number on the
test strip bottle.
2. Running A Control
Solution Test
Make sure the code
number on the Code
Card matches the
code number on the
test strip bottle.
Insert the test strip
into the meter.
Replace the
bottle cap immedi-
ately after removing
a test strip from the
bottle.
Squeeze a tiny
drop on the strip’s
reaction zone.
Check if the read-
ing falls within the
range printed on
the test strip bottle.
3. Inserting A Lancet
into the Lancing Device
Take the cap off.
To disinfect the cap
after cleaning by plac-
ing it in 70% rubbing
alcohol for 10 minutes.
Allow the cap to air-dry
after disinfecting.
Insert the lancet
into the lancing
device firmly.
Twist off the
protective cover.

Select the desired
penetration depth.
Pull on the sliding
barrel of the lancing
device until it clicks
and then release.

4. Alternative Site Test-
ing

Massage the punc-
ture area of forearm
or palm for a few
minutes.
Press and hold the
lancing device with
one clear adjustable
tip against the fore-
arm.
If you choose the
palm, repeat the pre-
ceding three steps to
obtain a drop of blood
sample.
Press the trigger
button to activate the
lancing device.
Please do NOT use
the first drop of blood
sample.
Hold the device
against forearm or
palm and increase
pressure until the
blood sample size is
sufficient.
5. Testing Your Blood
Glucose
Insert the test strip
into the meter.
For accurate
results, wash your
hands with soap and
warm water. Rinse and
dry thoroughly.
Press the trigger
button to activate
the lancing device.
Replace the bottle
cap immediately
after removing a test
strip from the bottle.
Be sure to get enough
blood on the strip’s
reaction zone.
The result will appear on
the display after 5 sec-
onds.
